CHAMBRE MAGAZINE — OPEN CALL #01

Chambre is pleased to announce an open call for contributions to its first issue.

Chambre is a curatorial and editorial project exploring the intersections between rituality, esotericism, the occult, mysticism, the body and the personal through contemporary art and its many forms of expression.

For the first issue, the focus turns inward. The subject is Chambre itself.

Artists, writers, curators and researchers are invited to respond to the project from their own perspective, contributing works or texts that engage with the ideas, themes and fields of research that define Chambre.

Submissions may include essays, critical or creative writing, poetry, visual works, photography, moving image, video, research materials, experimental projects, or other forms of interdisciplinary practice.

Contributions may approach Chambre directly or use one or more of its central areas of interest as a point of departure.

The aim is to bring together different perspectives and practices within the first issue, creating a publication that reflects the breadth of contemporary approaches to these subjects.

Submissions will be reviewed on the basis of their conceptual relevance, originality and relationship to the editorial direction of Chambre. A selection of contributions will be chosen for publication in the first issue of Chambre Magazine.
